I had such a lovely experience at this place! I visited with some friends last weekend, and we were all impressed by the inviting vibe as soon as we walked in. The staff greeted us with big smiles and were super helpful throughout our visit. I opted for the wild mushroom risotto, and it was creamy and packed with umami goodness. My friends enjoyed their burgers, which looked absolutely mouth-watering! We decided to share a few sides, and the garlic bread was particularly delicious. While everything was fantastic, I noticed that the music was a bit louder than I would have liked, making it hard to have a conversation at times. However, this is just a minor issue in what was otherwise a delightful evening. I will definitely recommend this place to others and can’t wait to go back again soon.

The meat was tender and full of flavour, and the rich sauce paired beautifully with the creamy mashed potatoes. My partner had the fish and chips, which were incredibly fresh and crispy. We also shared a dessert—sticky toffee pudding—and it was a heavenly way to end the meal! Service was attentive without being intrusive, which is a fine balance to strike. The only slight downside was that it took a little while for our mains to arrive, but it was certainly worth the wait. Overall, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion, and I can’t wait to return to try more dishes! A delightful gem that I will definitely be visiting again soon.

The pastry was flaky and golden, while the filling was hearty and packed with flavour. I also tried their local ale, which was refreshing and complemented my meal perfectly. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The only minor hiccup was that the place got quite busy, and we had to wait a bit for our table, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back to sample more from their extensive menu!
